Access to safe, clean water is among the most fundamental development priorities in East Africa. SETAC has
built an extensive and proven track record in the design, supervision, and monitoring of water supply
infrastructure across Somalia and South Sudan, delivering projects for UNICEF, IOM, and FAO in some of the
continent’s most water-scarce and conflict-affected regions.
From overseeing the drilling and construction of more than 20 boreholes in Jubaland to developing Somalia’s
national WASH Road Map for UNICEF, SETAC combines technical rigour with deep field experience to deliver
water infrastructure that genuinely serves communities. Our services span the full water and sanitation value
chain — from hydrogeological surveys and borehole design through to water quality testing, sanitation
construction, and post-handover support.
